FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where do you deliver?

Currently we deliver hot food to central and North London only. Cold meals to be reheated can be delivered anywhere in London.

What days do you deliver?

We deliver Thursday to Sunday only. Please make sure you place your order before 10pm the day before you want your food delivered. This will ensure that we have all the ingredients we need to make your order. 

What times do you deliver? 

Our deliveries start from 12pm and our last delivery is at 9pm. Please indicate an half hour window for your delivery on our online booking form. As we’re a small team we may contact you to see if we can deliver outside of your window, but we will try our best to honour the time you have stated. 

When do you update your menu? 

We change our menu every Monday.

How do I reheat my cold delivery? 

If you ordered your food chilled we will write instructions on your order on how to reheat.  The brown containers are microwave safe (without the lid) and the foil containers are oven safe and suitable for some microwaves (depending on manufactures guidelines). 

Can I request a cold delivery if I’m in central/north London? 

Of course you can! Just indicate that you want your meal delivered cold to be reheated later on our online booking form.

How do I make a payment?

Once we’ve received your order we’ll send you an invoice and a secure link to make payment.

Do you do children’s meals?

We don’t have a specific children’s menu, but we can prepare a meal for children on request. Just add the details into the special requirements section of our online booking form. 

I’m having trouble with the online form, can I make a booking a different way?

Yes, you can email us at bookings@hodgeandhuggett.co.uk or call us at 07909 717 285 to make a booking. Please make sure you provide the following information: 

  • Your food and wine choices
  • Whether you want your food delivered hot ready to eat, or chilled to heat at your convenience.
  • Your name, the address you’d like your food delivered and your phone number so we can let you know when your food has arrived
  • An half hour time slot for your food delivery.

Where do you source your ingredients?

During these difficult times we believe it’s just as important to support other small businesses, which is why we’ll be using our local fishmonger, butcher and green grocer for all our produce.

Uncharted Wines are an independent London based wine merchants who focus on sustainable and ethically sourced wines.

Are your containers recyclable? 

We care about the planet as much as we care about our food, so all our packaging is compostable – even the lids. 

How do you prepare my food?

We have a 5 star food hygiene rating. As standard we always use disposable gloves when handling food. We have a strict hand washing policy and use fast acting sanitiser spray during preparation.

Who is making my food? 

Claire and Steve are a husband and wife duo with a combined experience of 25 years in the restaurant industry. 1
