We are Hodge & Huggett, a husband and wife independent catering company.
Together we have over 25 years combined culinary experience, working at some of the best restaurants in London and New York, including head chef at Yotam Ottolenghi’s flagship restaurant.
We were finalists in the 2019 British Street Food Awards and have appeared on BBC’s Million Pound Menu. We’ve been trading since 2015, running street-food stalls, pop-up restaurants, festivals, dinner parties and weddings.
Our London based team is completely versatile. From weddings and office lunches, to pop ups and private dinning experiences – Hodge & Huggett cater for all types of events.

WHO WE ARE
Claire Hodgson and Steve Huggett are the dream team behind Hodge & Huggett.
After meeting on Steve’s stall Muffin Man & Co in 2017, Claire and Steve started volunteering together at food waste charities and social enterprises, including Foodcycle, Liberty Kitchen and Mike’s Table.
Shortly after this they joined forces and Hodge & Huggett was born. Steve’s extensive pastry chef skills and Claire’s wide knowledge of world ingredients, make this dynamic couple the perfect combination.
Chef and Founder
Steve started his career in 2005 and has worked at some of London’s most renowned Michelin starred restaurants, including The Square and Le Trompette. He moved into the street food business and has since established the highly successful Muffin Man & Co and The Duck Shed.

Claire developed her skills both in the UK and abroad, working in some of the top restaurants in London and New York. Her restaurant experience includes The Spotted Pig in New York, and she worked for Yotam Ottolenghi for four years at his Islington and Nopi restaurants where she was head chef.
